Privacy & Security Policy

Our goal is to provide convenience in a secure environment. To do so, we take multiple steps to ensure your information remains confidential.

First and foremost, Essex Alliance Church keeps an up-to-date PCI DSS Certificate of Compliance. The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) is a set of requirements set forth by the PCI Security Standards Council to enhance business security and protect against identity theft and fraudulent transactions. We also do a monthly vulnerability scan to verify that internal networks are safe from unauthorized access.

We do not store any credit card numbers, expiration dates, or cvn numbers. Transactions are processed directly through the trusted Fellowship One database, which uses the latest encryption technology. This information is restricted so full details are never disclosed to any staff, and only the financial department may access partial details.

We will never rent, sell, or distribute any information about our users.

In an effort to better serve our congregation and community, we may collect general information such as your name, address, and contact data. However, this information will not be collected except when knowingly provided by the user, and is kept confidential by the staff.

Your general information may only be used in the church wide directory upon your request. This directory is not permitted for any use outside the church.

Data Retention

All information collected is securely retained in Fellowship One. It is not used, distributed, or stored in any ways other than as stated in the Privacy & Security Policy.

Refund Policy

To receive a refund for an event, advance notice of cancellation is required, unless the event itself is cancelled. Please contact Linda Turner at with any questions.

Using online giving, you can schedule new contributions at any time and may modify or cancel those contributions prior to the scheduled date. Once a contribution has been processed, however, it can no longer be cancelled.
