As women, we have unique needs and desires. We desire friendship, support, spiritual and personal growth. We long to be treasured and we need to find our purpose. We desire to know God. With this in mind, a team of women meet monthly to pray, plan and design programs just for you. |
By the way, in case you haven’t noticed, EveryWoman is the new name for women’s ministries. Our purpose is to lead women into a closer relationship with God.
So what does EveryWoman have to offer you this year? Let’s take a few minutes to look at the many different opportunities that are planned.

Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS)
Moms, you make a difference. Mothers of Preschoolers, simply called MOPS, is a group that celebrates motherhood. If you, or someone you know is a mother of a young child under the age of 5, this group is a wonderful place to connect with other moms who may be experiencing the same excitement and life challenges in mothering. MOPS meets twice per month throughout the school year. This year’s theme is “The Home Factor: Begin here, go there”, and will focus on topics that will encourage moms to make their homes a nurturing, safe and caring environment for their families.
When moms arrive at a MOPS meeting, they bring their children to a wonderful age appropriate childcare program called MOPPETS. Once the children are settled, moms gather in the fellowship hall for a meal, a guest speaker and a craft activity. What a treat for busy moms to be served a meal, to enjoy an inspirational talk and to complete a creative project…start to finish!
LifeWalk
Are you wanting to learn how God’s word can apply to your every day life? Life Walk is a brand new program for women of all ages and bible experience. Bonnie Bound will be basing her teaching on the gospel of Matthew. Bonnie has a way of breaking open the meaning of every word so you can come away with a new understanding. Life Walk will meet Friday mornings, beginning on Sept 28. The morning will begin with a large group teaching in the fellowship hall, followed by a time to break into discussion groups. No homework is required but daily reflection on the passage will help you with your life walk.
Bonnie has said, “My ministry is to come alongside women, meeting them where they are and encouraging them to walk just a little bit further down the road, to discover some new truths or learn how to apply what they already know in new ways.”
There is no greater walking companion than Jesus.

Women in God's Word
These small group bible studies are designed just for women. Each of these groups has a different flavor and style of learning. Women who lead these studies have a passion for knowing God’s word. In these 6-10 week studies, you’ll explore the riches of the Bible and share what you’ve learned with others. They are great places to connect with women who will encourage you to be in God’s word daily.
These groups will help to you study the bible on your own using a study guide to structure your personal journey into God’s word. See the Women Studies page or contact Kim Paul/879-8640
We are excited to tell you that this program will be expanding this year in effort to provide more small groups that would meet the needs of women at every level of spiritual growth. To get these groups started, we need you. Has God been speaking to you about leading a small group, but you don’t know how to get started? We have a place for you.
This fall, we are introducing WILD, Women In Leadership Development. This will be a safe place for women to get started in their journey of serving. Maggie Swanke and Mary Busch will be leading this 10 week study called “You matter more than you think”. During this time, we will also discuss techniques for leading a dynamic small group.
