Helping Students Find and Follow Jesus
At Essex Alliance, we want every student to find Jesus Christ and follow Him with their whole lives. Our student ministry provides the tools and relationships that can help you find Jesus Christ, deepen your spiritual walk with Him, and express your love for Him at home, at school, and in the community.

Opportunities include community, small group discussions, large group teaching, trips and retreats, Sunday worship, ministry training, and special events. Whether you're a sixth-grader or a senior in high school, we have a place for you.

Pursuit :: For Middle School Students

Pursuit Small Groups
We know that our group can seem a little big at times... So we try our hardest to make Pursuit feel smaller without losing any of the energy that a roomful of middle school students provide! After large group competitions and our snack bar, we break students into small groups, where they can hang with their friends, meet new people, get to know one of our great adult leaders, interact with God, and apply the relevance of Jesus Christ to their everyday lives. Our desire is to help all of our students take the next step in their spiritual journey — no matter what their spiritual background is!

Pursuit meets Sunday nights from 5:30 - 7:30 pm in the Old Stage Campus Gym.  Check our calendar to make sure we're meeting this Sunday.  Come, hang with us!

Pursuit Wildside Events
These aren't your typical, mediocre, "Are we done yet?" events! Nope... it's fast-paced, action-packed, and so totally outrageous that you'll never know what's coming next - hayrides, retreats, parties, or ski trips.  We throw these events at you about once a month.  Be sure to check the calendar, email Sarah, or give her a call at 878-8213 x39 for information about the next one coming soon.

Pursuit Quest
Ready to make a difference in the world for Jesus Christ? Join Quest along with a team of other middle school students who desire to expand the kingdom of God among their friends and in their own lives. Quest meets on the 1st Wednesday of every month in the Old Stage Community Center, upstairs in Room 200.

The Exchange :: For High School Students

The Exchange on Sunday Night
Designed for high school students seeking God, it is our desire that — through music, teaching, multimedia, drama, and relationships — students will meet God and be changed because of Him. If you are tired of "playing church" and want to be part of something life-changing, The Exchange is a great place for you to begin your journey.

The Exchange meets Sunday nights from 5:30 - 7:30 pm in the Old Stage Campus Fellowship Hall.  Check our calendar to make sure we're meeting this Sunday.

The Exchange CORE Groups
Exchange CORE Groups allow high school students to develop greater intimacy with God and each other. They usually meet at someone's home mid-week and may be broken down by age, gender, or spiritual interest. CORE Groups allow students to follow Christ based on where they're at in their own spiritual journey. Topics vary from purity, self-esteem, and tough faith questions, to Bible book studies, accountability, and evangelism. No matter where you are at on your spiritual journey, we invite you to find a CORE Group that fits your specific interests.  Information about CORE Groups meeting this semester can be found by emailing Sarah.

The Exchange One_Eighty Events
Ready to get rid of your misconceptions about church? Want something on the edge... like a dodgeball tournament... or battle of the bands... or hearing about the truth of Jesus with hundreds of other students your age? One_Eighty is where it's at! Definitely a time when you want to bring your friends, hang out with others and meet new ones. Be prepared to be pushed to the edge! One_Eighty happens about once a month, so you'd better contact Sarah at the church office for more info: 878-8213 x39.
